Darna Centre
Darna is a home for all who care about youth creativity and the activities of civil associations. Founded in 2005, with generous support from French and Palestinian institutions, Darna strives toward excellence and hard work. It is a participatory project that organizes, promotes, and participates in numerous important events and activities in the community, without discrimination of sex, belief or affiliation.
Darna considers youth to be an essential component of Palestinian society. Fostering excellence, innovation, and creativity among youth is very important to the organization. It is Darna aim to have youth integrate these qualities into all of their future efforts and endeavours so that they are able to positively impact and change their communities.
Darna also has been able to create constructive networking and relationship building opportunities between Palestinian and international institutions. It accomplishes this by providing services such as training courses and facilities, facsimile, copying, Internet access, and electronic equipment usage to more than 86 associations in and around Nablus.
